Hmmm. This brings back memories. There was a time... long ago and far away... when my living room looked a little bit like a rainbow from all the different colors of paint "swatched" on the walls. The Second Mrs. Pennington would buy small quantities of paint, slap about a one square-foot "sample" of each color on the wall and we'd "live with it" for a few days before deciding what worked... and what didn't. Thus: not many "do-overs."

I feel for ya, ASW. Really.

Last time I was at Lowe's I asked about the small sample cans. I think they were just a few dollars each.

Are you familiar with Kilz? I just used it to cover up some graffiti-style painting in the guest bedroom here. One coat covered bright purple and hot pink without any problem.
